Flags Mashup Bot is really out here trying to start World War III

My fav part is that it is genuinely just a bot. All it does is take two countries, puts the 2nd country’s colours on the 1st country’s flag and mixes their names together.
Literally the only other thing behind it is that the bot weights picking the second country based on how close they are to the first, and basic geography + history means that’s also where you’re going to get the most aggressive relations. This isn’t some guy trolling by making things specifically to piss people off, it’s some guy who likes flags going “wouldn’t it be fun to mix flags together, let’s write a bot for that” and accidentally creating a whole meme culture of “days since flag mashup bot last tried to start WW3 = 0” and the like.

Yesterday at work these two 12yo boys came through my line and i’m instantly like. oh Boy. Because solo children at a grocery store are always forces of chaos, good or bad
But thankfully these ones were totally pleasant, and when i asked if they wanted a receipt one of them pulled out a random fuckin receipt from his bag and asked “Do YOU???” and y’all, i lost my shit… What a power move. When will i ever be this funny
I love that most people once they realized what was happening just went full Berserk mode without a care
also the man dropping his walking cane to have an anime like elder master reveal
This wonderful human is bringing so much joy into the world. He’s reminding people they’re allowed to play. That they can be silly in public. That fun can come in unexpected places and at unexpected times. I wish I knew who he was. I’d donate so he could buy more pillows and bring more fun into the world - once it’s safe enough to.
