If you don’t feel any need to reblog this unfollow me.

Seriously what the fuck you spent money on those donate to a homeless shelter instead you fucking demons

This is more common than you may think. Many urban areas that have high homeless populations are using “defensive architecture” more and more. Sloped and divided benches to keep the homeless from sleeping on them. Spikes placed in sheltered areas where they tend to stay. City planners argue they are only trying to relocate the homeless, pushing them to see out shelters and homeless centers. But that rings hollow. They just want them out of sight. I don’t have a simple, easy solution. But this isn’t it. Making things harder for the homeless does not help them.

All these corporations have so much money to spend it on putting spikes on places where homeless people sleep yet absolutely NOTHING goes to those who are homeless. This country really doesn’t give a fuck about the well being of homeless people at all

this is heartbreaking fr .

By the way you can remove these spikes with wither a sledgehammer and a heavy metal spike (sharpened crowbar with a downwards slant and the handle removed or something similar) or a concrete saw if you’ve got one of those. It’s illegal to do but it also only takes about an hour if there aren’t too many spikes.

Alternatively, if you put a mattress over them they become useless, although you do risk having the city take the mattress. Normally they don’t reinstall the spikes if you keep removing them.

As for the benches, a concrete or hand held circular saw can cut off the arm rests of the benches with too many arm rests to sleep on. Just remember: Wear protective goggles and practice proper safety if using power tools. All of this stuff can be bought at Home Depot or your local variant of Home Depot.

For legal purposes I have to advise you that this is illegal and I’m not advising you to do this.

remember: they can’t catch you if you’re faster than they are!

Also!! If you wear a hard hat- orange construction vest and carry a clipboard people are more likely to believe your legit and not call the cops on you

ok, that last one is pretty good advice

Ah yes, “this country”, aka several countries all over the globe.

an official d&d sourcebook: Dragons like to draw stars around their own names to show how important they are

“Important ideas are emphasized in spoken Draconic by stressing the beginning and end of the word. In the written form, important words are marked with a special symbol of six lines radiating outward, similar to an asterisk  *. This device is most often used by dragons when referring to themselves.”

I aspire to this level of Extra

“No, brave heroes! Come no further…”

“This cave is occupied by an ancient dragon called… *~*flamedrake69*~*…”

how do you think kojima felt when people guessed the twist in MGSV from the first trailer two years before the game came out, based solely on the fact that Venom Snake was vaping

this piece of metal gear history always amazes me

honestly, theres nothing bad with being able to tell a twist based on the clues provided. thats the point of giving clues in the first place.
