one of my favorite headcanons in homestuck is that john has to actively think about not flying and if he gets distracted like lets say day dreaming or thinking he starts floating off
not even five minutes into episode 2 of pokeani 2019 and we have learned:
ash is literally incapable of getting up in the morning without the help of several people, especially if he’s too excited for something and stays up late because of it
that alarm clock delia canonically waited in line 5 hours to get him has been broken three times now and she has, presumably, replaced it each time despite herself
this happens because ash sleep-battles so consistently that when he feels something round in his hands he cannot resist the urge to throw it, despite literally being unconscious
in the past, we’ve seen that pikachu can wake him up by electrocuting him. this doesn’t work anymore. he sleeps through BEING ELECTROCUTED.
pikachu and delia have to fucking double team ash to get him to wake up
ash, despite all this, insists to his dear sweet mother that he is perfectly capable of waking up on his own, thank you.
The widespread attraction women have to BDG is proof that incels are wrong. You don’t have to be some 6'5 swole chad with an expensive sports car for women to like you. You just have to be a good dude who is passionate and actually has a personality.
