even if testosterone stops your menstrual cycle, if you were able to conceive before starting hrt, there is still a chance you can conceive while on testosterone!!
this is not a universal experience. it has never been brought up at any of my HRT appointments and - judging from the amount of people reblogging and saying that they didn’t know this at all - it’s not exactly basic knowledge either.
trans health care is getting better, albeit slowly, but it is not something that has been spread out evenly. until it is, the best thing we as a community can do is try to educate one another and ensure the harmful “T as a contraceptive” myth is no longer in circulation.
