Good!!! I’ve already unfollowed two youtubers over streaming that game and ixnayed Patreon support of one. And I’ll do more! I don’t care how good your content is, I fucking hate you now and I’m not gonna be able to look at your shit ever again! The least you deserve for the harm you’re dealing with this shit is a bit of a bad day.
Cyberbullying is bad but I suspect in this case they actually mean people being like ‘wtf I thought better than you’ and unsubscribing, which is not cyberbullying. In which case, great work everyone.
That is in fact what Jessie Gender said was happening when she looked into these cases of “bullying”. She has a video explaining on it here
And here’s a video by Jim Sterling, who uses the strong incendiary language I prefer when discussing useless self-proclaimed allies “wanting permission from trans people to not take a stand”.
If you take some time to look into it, such as the crying streamer article, you’ll find that the “bullying” is people writing stuff like “I’m unfollowing”, “really disappointed” or “you do you, but I won’t be here to watch or support you anymore.”
Comments like that is bullying or harassment to these thin-skinned people. Being held accountable or getting criticism is bullying to them.
That’s why people need to actually take a second look at articles like the “steamer started crying” article because it may just that that article is feeding into a specific narrative and maybe, just maybe, you need to fact check.
Direct action works. Make sure you’re “bullying” your local politicians about trans laws too! They’re playing the game of real life on this issue and they should be getting at least as much feedback as the streamers. If you’ve supported your trans siblings in the streaming sphere, but not in local government, nows the time to step it up!
underrated fantasy thing is when authors want to avoid giving an actual earth year their story takes place so the characters say shit like “back in the Year Of The Skateboarding Dragon” and all the other characters are like ah yes how could we forget the crops were so plentiful the year that dragon did those sweet sweet kickflips
the “came back wrong” trope except like… they didnt. like this mad scientists wife died, and so he studied necromancy, brought her back, and she came back and it all worked. like she came back exactly the same as she was before with literally no difference. but the scientist guy is like “oh no… what have i done…. shes Different now!!!! she came back Wrong!!!!” and shes just like. chilling. reading a book. cooking dinner. shes just so so normal but in the guys mind hes like “oh shes soooo weird” but shes just normal
it bugs me how many lesbians have issues with trans women. like, we’re supposed to love women. what’s next, you gonna start hating short people too? fuck off.
AND TRANS GUYS. “ooohhhhh they’re betraying womanhood” no, they’re men. jfc not everything is a personal attack some people are just guys.
Kids on the internet now a days are literally wild.. like when I was 12 and on the internet, i was lying out my asshole I was telling people about my kids and my wife. I was talking to them about taxes and how I miss my college days…..now 12 year Olds are out here telling their AGE?!?! OR REAL NAME?!??! I was literally fucking Garry that worked at staples and had 2 children for like 4 years…
absolutely fucking reeling from puss in boots the last wish. my grown ass friends made me see it and it absolutely fucked. it was mad max fury road for kids. it was a horror movie about the fear of death. it was a western about an ageing outlaw trying to regain his youth with the help of his ex fiance and homeless harvey guillen. it was about found family. it was about needing people and asking for help. it had the best depiction of a panic attack i’ve ever seen in a mainstream film. the villain looked exactly like boris johnson. there was a wicker man reference. it had a kill count higher than most slasher films. it set up shrek 5. they even said fuck.
