Imagine them getting stuck in Ba Sing Se and Aang just being like, “I wonder if the sandal pit is still here.”

This raises the question of whether Aang is telling the truth or if Toph and Bumi just happen to have the same sense of humor as him.

ok but yknow what plot point also should have been used for comedy? zuko being roku’s great grandson, because like. imagine the things aang could have done with that information. imagine the revealing of that information.

He’s apologized!!” Apologies don’t mean shit if you don’t correct your behavior!! This Man Is Not On Your Side. You have to be RIDICULOUSLY naive to fall for this shit dozens of times in a row, to the point where I now assume anyone defending him is far-right themselves or is unbelievably, dangerously stupid. YES, people deserve second chances. They do not deserve a tenth chance, especially not when their audience is mostly CHILDREN. He is not being “framed”. This isn’t “cancel culture”, and it isn’t “distracting from the REAL fascists”. He is repeatedly giving his young audience a direct pipeline to those exact people. Take. It. Seriously.
