my favourite part about being a roller main and also being stupid is when i see another stupid roller main and we lock eyes and immediately run straight into each other. killing both of us instantly. its like that town that existed for a single day in texas where they made two trains drive head on into each other and they exploded instantly. except we are squids and not trains.
one thing about orpheus and eurydice is you guys are all like “i’m different i wouldnt turn to look at her” because you are all familiar with the story of orpheus and eurydice. but orpheus wasnt familiar with the story because he was in it lol.

another thing thats interesting is i think most people assume its a walk of reasonably short length that you have to resist looking back. but we dont know how long that walk was. its out of the underworld, time could work very differently. could be days. could be months. could you walk for months without looking back to see if your love is okay? i dont think you could
exactly. like oh you’re not going to look back? have you never lost a love? there is so much looking back.
not to mention that the gods were often depicted as being untrustworthy a lot of the time and the lingering thought that hades and persephone lied would be strong

‘you’re blowing this way out of proportion’ nah i don’t think i am. i think you’ve made a choice and you’re not comfortable with the consequences of it. but unfortunately for you you can’t play Antisemitism: The Game made by the World’s Most Famous Transphobe and expect jewish people, trans people or their allies to like you.
not spending sixty quid on the Antisemitic Game That Funds Transphobia is literally the bare fucking minimum in allyship and some of you can’t even manage that
these “allies” are the same kind that couldnt even stop buying chicken sandwiches that directly funded ant LGBT bills.
