hi please don’t leave jewish people out of your activism there were literally neonazis storming the capitol today and still the only people I see thinking about jewish people ARE jewish people. obviously bipoc are at a higher risk than (specifically white) jews bc they’re more visible targets and they need the bulk of our support and I absolutely do not intend to distract from that but I am fully bracing for more synagogue burnings and swastika grafiti and rates of antisemitism are on the rise globally and we still we get left out of conversations so please expand your activism a little and include jews. please. white supremacists and neo nazis go hand in hand and you CAN’T leave jewish people out of conversations about NAZIS so please include us in your activism. thanks

The third reich era started with the failed coup known as The Beer Hall Putsch. Its extremely reasonable for Jewish and Muslim people to be fearful when seeing Nazis attempting to stage a coup.
Sikhs too are often VERY visible targets of white supremacist hatred. The first person killed in a 9/11 motivated hate crime was a Sikh. In 2012 a white supremacist killed seven people in a gurdwara (a Sikh place of worship). please stop leaving us out.

Any Republicans backpedaling now have shown us exactly who they are. They will happily embrace white supremacists, incite violence, and attempt to overthrow democracy right up until it threatens them andmakes them hide under their desk, and then suddenly it’s bad. They set the place on fire and now they’re standing in the smoldering remains and talking about rebuilding as though they have any right to be a part of that conversation or to even show their faces in public ever again. Call 202-224-3121 right now if you have Republican Senators who were involved in inciting this, or Democratic Senators who seem content to let this lie. Their phones should not stop ringing until this is resolved. Personally I think angry ranting is perfectly acceptable at this point, but keep in mind you’ll be talking to interns and 5calls.org has an impeachment script ready.
Impeachment is happening Monday in the House (they can’t come back sooner than that without a unanimous vote). Call your Democratic representative to make sure they’re ready to vote to impeach, and/or call your Republican Congress members and remind them that you will fight tooth and nail to get them out of office if they’re not.
