anyway attack on titan is nazi propaganda and i dont trust ppl who like it, and as a Jew™ and general decent person i have the fucking right to say i hate snk and fans of it on my own blog
also hetalia (i dont feel the need to link a source for that one since it is literally called axis powers hetalia and one of the main characters is a personification of nazi germany)
hi there, i hope its okay that i add onto this! i am a korean jew and i think its important to state that attack on titan also glorifies japans history of oppressing korea. the source emma provided also goes further into detail about this if anyone wants to know more
tysm for this post because snk makes me so uncomfortable, and not a lot of people realize what it is
Can non Jews reblog? Because this is kinda a Big Deal
OP didn’t answer (at least not on this version of the thread), but I would say yes, gentiles absolutely should reblog. Lack of knowledge is what allows this shit to grow unchecked.
… OH my 😮
Bringing this back since 2020 is the worst and Axis Powers has been confirmed to be coming back. These aren’t a case of death of the author/being able to separate artist from their work. The ENTIRE POINT of these is advocating for eugenics, racial fetishization/superiority, fascism, and nazi sympathizing. This isn’t “Man, hetalia fans were so cringe with their constant rape jokes and general annoying behavior both irl and online” this is “hey, we’re experiencing a global rise in fascism + concentration camps, maybe AXIS POWERS is not just a problematic fave but actually harmful nazi sympathizing garbage”???
this must be what people in china and new zealand feel like looking at american news. solved the problem here but totally helpless to stop it elsewhere
makes a fucked up and evil ravioli chart to harm my friends
I love these charts because I can read off a sentence like “An Occupied Coffin Is A Ravioli” to the household and immediately incur the wrath of every living thing in it, including the houseplants.
that last one is some diogenes level philosophy right there
