i find it v cute when rpgs offer me, someone whose sole strategy is “attacking enemies,” status changing effects. “this lowers your enemy’s speed” you know what else would lower their speed? being dead, from my fists
In Pokemon’s main single player game there’s virtually never, ever, ever a need for stat-altering moves to the point I’ve overheard people question why they’re even there, since you can basically win every single core game by hammering at whatever attack does the most damage.
But stat-altering effects are practically the entire key to winning in competitive multiplayer!
i was notorious in middle school for spamming sand attack
i just had an experience i dont think anyone else on earth has ever had before where i saw a tumblr ad and thought “wow that seems interesting i want to check that out” (it was an ad for a new method of learning to speak welsh) and for the first time in human history i actually intentionally clicked on an ad on tumblr to see more information about a product and the fucking link it had embedded was broken and didnt work
you: oh cool I’m interested, where does this link go?
making fun of wheatley as like a character is funny because i don’t hate him that much really but he’s just an orb with a british accent which makes him just so easy to make fun of
