[ID] A full color drawing of Taako, standing in profile with a sad look on his face, one hand held down on the handle of the umbrastaff, the other held up in front of him. Taako is a slender elf with large furry ears, long blond hair worn in a braid over his shoulder, tan skin with lighter patches on his feet and hands, and a small tail with a tuft of blond fur at the end. Taako is wearing a short blue dress with a light blue trim around the bottom, brown heels, and a large brown wizard hat. The umbrastaff is a purple umbrella with a golden handle, and the background is grey. [end ID]
I love the final destination movies, but in the third, literally every component that caused the crash was removed.
The big guy was never strapped down, and the camera went with the perv.
So… why it crash?
The roller coaster was already leaking the fluid and the roller coaster was already rickity enough to derail. The camera just made them happen faster. The delay caused after the premonition could have been enough time for the events to fall into place without the help of the pervs camera
In the Final Destination series Death is a bored teen and here’s why…
So I’m rewatching the Final Destination series and one thing always confused me. Why do the people get these visions in the first place? I’m not sure if I just haven’t been paying attention or what but I don’t think it ever really says. So my theory is that Death gives people these visions of death as a challenge. “You can try and cheat death let’s see if you can beat me.” If Death was really pissed off that they cheated him then he would do whatever it takes to rectify the mistake. BUT Death does these elaborate deaths that if the person was paying attention they could easily avoid it. I think Death is bored and wants to play this game to see if these people can outwit him. Death sticks to rules, leaves clues and makes the build up to the death slow so you have a chance to catch what’s going on. He even changes the music to ironic, death related songs to warn them! What kind of saucy bringer of the end of life would do something like this? What if it was a new young death that thought that just ending peoples lives was boring and wanted to spice things up by playing this weird game ever so often?
I know this is random but it was a thought I wanted to shared xD
The best part of Final Destination is how creative Death is. Didn’t die in a plane crash? Okay, then I’ll build a Rube Goldberg Machine of Horror and kill you in twelve different ways at once.
Everyone always says that Crowley and Aziraphale did nothing to stop the apocalypse and were absolutely useless in the end.
But then I thought about who did actually save the day and the answer bugs me. We have Anathema with instructions from her prophetic ancestor, a guy who magically destroys computers by touching them and Adam, who warps reality to his will. Because none of them actually did anything due to a plan of their own. There was little intention. Almost everything happened accidentally.
To me, Good Omens acts as the antithesis for the Final Destination horror films. In which Death, maybe even the same Death as Good Omens, is unhappy when a premonition saves people who were supposed to die. It upsets the balance and so Death distorts reality in small ways to ensure it’s fixed.
What if the opposite also happens. Death upsets the balance on his side by trying to take people who weren’t meant to die yet and Life is the one to warp reality in increasingly obvious ways to ensure the balance. And we know Life’s favourite trick from the Final Destination films. It’s Premonition. ie. Agnes Nutter. Who also allowed herself to die because she for one was NOT having death coming after her. No sir.
