What I think a lot of people don’t realize is that conservatives, plenty of them, are FULLY aware of what non conservatives support and are callous and cynical enough to use what they understand their despicable beliefs are as a weapon
Plenty of conservatives KNOW that drug law in this country hurts racial minorities more
And they are NOT ABOVE turning it around and saying “this candidate is a racist because she supports this stuff I’m actively fighting to uphold”
I think people assume that conservatives wouldn’t lie in this specific way because to most decent people it would be essentially admitting the stuff they want is harmful and racist but they ABSOLUTELY do this

I’m not actually doing theories at the moment since I’m wantin’ to build the AU’s world and such, BUT since you asked I took a looksie at the trailer and I gotta say, I don’t think the new character is a woman. From just a lil’ glance I think it might be a Ghirahim; far as I remember, no one else has such prominent eye markings and while he didn’t have the strange looking headband/tiara thing in his OG design, that eye looks like it relates to the Calamity and who better to connect the villains together than the spirit of Ganondorf’s sword? Could be him with an updated design to better fit the world of BotW or somethin’. O:

From a story perspective, I think its the sudden helplessness juxtaposed with being a direct sequel to OoT. Like you defeated ganondorf. you saved the world in two different timelines. You faced monsters and became the greatest swordsman in hyrule. And suddenly youre this small weak wooden creature that everyone dismisses and treats like a child. That mixed with being in an unfamiliar land gives a certain sense of hopelessness that majoras mask is really good at conveying.
From a gameplay perspective, I think its being introduced to the games core gimmick early on and given a small area to learn what abilities it has without it being shoved down your throat.
