In case anyone’s wondering is because getting an x ray once is so barely harmful that it rounds to zero but standing in front of an x ray emitter 40 hours a week for years will definitely kill you
If I go to the bar and have one drink with the bartender I’ll be fine. If the bartender has a drink with every patron then they will die
This is all true and immediately obvious to anyone who thinks about it for more than 1.5 seconds, but it doesn’t change the fact that “dude goes to egypt to press a button” is still the funniest set of words I’ve read today.
So I justs got the complete art of Fullmetal Alchemist book, and it has this gorgeous everyone picture on the cover.
Pretty awesome right? I love that it has older Ed, Al, and Winry. And I really love that Ed has this red trenchcoat thing. But then, I was looking at it, and Al and Winry are both wearing the outfits they’re wearing in their last scene. Like, that white jacket that Winry’s wearing is the one that she’s wearing at the train station.
So this begs the question: why is Ed wearing this red trenchcoat that he never wears?
Expect, if you take the color out of this picture, that is the outfit he’s wearing at the train station. You’ll also notice a few smaller detail that are slightly different colors (Gracia and Sheska’s hair color for instance).
This can only mean one thing: Arakawa intended for Ed to go traveling the world in a red trenchcoat that is the same color as his old coat. (Likely this is not the case in the anime because there are no full color pieces of Ed in this outfit, and the anime crew had some faith in Ed gaining a better sense of style).
I so badly wish we could have had red-coat finale Ed. So please enjoy my so-so edits of red trenchcoat Ed.
Look at this dork with his red coat! Let him continue his tackey fashion!
what if his red trenchcoat IS his old coat. he just alchemized it to be less immature as he grew.
