honestly i dont know why people are still surprised that nintendo wins e3 every year when theyre the ones that just focus on the games. while other other consoles focus on rendering 56 million individual pores on the skin nintendo has just been makin games and things people actually enjoy.

venividivictorious asked: I love hognose baby so much 😭 can we get some more of him?

Here is a fun snake fact: there are many different methods of snake locomotion, including serpentine/undulatory locomotion, sidewinding, and caterpillar movement/rectilinear locomotion, but this one is my favorite:

It is called “concertina movement” but I prefer to call it “scrunching.” Many snakes do it when climbing trees.

Here is a fun Mel fact: my mother still calls me “scooch” because this is what I did instead of crawling when I was a baby.

Please nintendo i cant deal

There’s still DLC…

Okay, the first DLC character was Joker, but Crash Team Racing will be on Switch at launch. It’s the perfect time. Crash could be the second.

Okay so two and three weren’t Crash but BANJO being in now definitely increases his chances cause it means that western characters are being considered and removes the most likely other option from the running.

But for now,

you wanna see some badass shit from the early 20th century?? The Lumière brothers created the first full color photograph… in fucking 1903! So these dudes dyed potatoes (in red, blue, and green), mashed them down into just pure fuckin’ starch, and used these dyed potato starches as filters to block out/let in certain wavelengths of light. They coated one side of a glass plate with the starches and sensitized the other side with a mixture of gelatin and light sensitive materials (silver nitrate) and loaded these plates in their cameras.. This is a really simple explanation of the process and I may have missed some things

A few of my favorite autochrome photos:

detective pikachu was a cute movie and all but the part where they drenched a mr. mime in gasoline before setting him on fire and watching him burn alive was really fucked up

hey op i didn’t think you were serious

I feel like this post doesnt emphasize that they burned him to death in a very small chamber that just barely had enough room to sit in like a storage closet.
