Here’s the thing.

Luzrah gro-Shar is a character introduced in The Elder Scrolls Legends: Isle of Madness DLC. She has a pretty important role in the plot, and is also a great character in her own right, both defying Orc Stereotypes and providing the occasional jaunty tune.

However, as someone pointed out on the subreddit, lore and linguistically wise, gro- is used for male orcs’ names, with gra- as the female variant, making her surname, gro-Shar, imply she is trans.

Now, this is probably a error on the naming and lore department part, but still, much like the babadook can be gay due to a netflix error, then Lurzah can also be a trans character.

Therefore:

Old Sheogorath Said Trans Rights!

@skyrim-hates-her here’s the one.

trans rights babey!!!

It’s a double whammy because all orcs are the children of Malacath, who is the daedra of outcasts. I think the LGBTQ+ community fits under that umbrella rather snugly. So basically

This is great thank you

I was arguing with a girl the other day on Facebook. I’ve known her my whole life and I was just astounded at her sheer ignorance.

She told me to enlighten her as to why the wall wouldn’t work and how immigrants, legal or not, help our economy.

I provided several sources… To which I received… Silence

I commented again and she told me she wouldn’t read a single one. A few minutes later she deleted most of my comments and hers (actually, deleting them in a way that took a lot of what I said out of context.. it was.. gross)

She then messaged me and asked me to enlighten her on how the wall is based in racism,so again I provided sources. She told me to “stop fucking messaging her”

They don’t want to hear facts. They want to stay in their delusions of ignorance.

The way that Rebecca Sugar writes plot twists and handles mysteries is really, really good. In this essay i will… actually explain

See, Rebecca picks reasonable, almost obvious answers to a plot mysteries. Example: Is Steven Pink Diamond? Answer: No, he’s himself. Pink is gone. It’s seems clear and makes sense and that’s the point. On top of that, it’s the most thematically powerful answer.

But it’s step two that’s the important part. She makes the viewer doubt themselves. Steven’s dreams leading up to this point, every homeworld gem telling calling him rose quartz/pink over and over.. It’s not objective evidence, but it gets to you, just like it got to Steven. And when it’s objectively proven that steven is his own person, you feel like you’ve been through that journey with him, because he’s been having the same doubts as you.

It makes you both feel so good to be right

People get angry at Rebecca because they theorise completely contrived, rediculous answers to her mysteries. They’re so obsessed with the answer being ‘unpredictable’ that they forget to make the answer have narrative and thematic sense. Apparently it’s her fault when their theories aren’t proven.

But she’s not phased. Rebecca picks the most elegant and fitting answers and doesn’t care how ‘predictable’ they are. Then she tries very hard to hide them. Hiding something obvious like that is an art. That’s what makes it so good

It’s how you write a good plot mystery fite me

Honest to god I could write entire books on the fucked up little micro societies that exist solely in isolated gmod servers

my buddy and I were crawling some servers on gmod one day, just dinking around and being mild nuisances. we found one server where everyone had some ridiculous rank/title–various mythical creatures and wizards and stuff. We bothered someone badly enough (probably made a big mess of barrels or something) that we got put in jail, but we weren’t really interested in playing gmod as much as just goofing off, so we hung around the server for a while. the residents were chatting pretty casually, until someone, in a frantic tone, says “Janus is coming! We need to get this place cleaned up!” Janus logs in, and he has the title of God. Someone sheepishly asks “hey what’s up Janus?” Janus replies with an ear-splittingly loud buzzing static noise that drowns every sound on the server out.

me and my buddy absolutely lost our minds

one time i was bored on gmod and started off as a drug dealer who got a gig in a secret room behind a bar. I would make drugs and the bartender would sell it. now, the drug dealing was just a side gig as i made myself a secret room within the secret room where i had several counterfeit machines pumping money. Then the previous mayor got killed by a hitman so there was a new election. I threw my hat in the ring as a joke and won. i immediately ordered the bar shut down and bribed the cops to jail the bar owner and was hella corrupt.
