im REALLY really not trying to be mean but I dont think ppl know what Tops and Bottoms are
oh my god i just realized these idiots are just transposing their dumbass introvert/extrovert shit directly onto bottom/top labels because they think its the same thing
As a nursing student, I can attest to the amount of bullying and horrible behavior I’ve seen from fellow nursing students. One of the students in my school’s nursing program got kicked out because she was bullying her own patient…
My mom is also a nurse and she has both witnessed AND personally experienced bullying from her fellow nurses. My dad is a nurse as well and has had his own coworkers try to sabatoge him.
This is called “lateral/horizontal violence” and it’s sadly prevalent in the Nursing profession.
it goes as deep as the billing offices for hospitals too. i cant tell yall how much highschool drama my mom has had to deal with in 20 years of billing.
My mother was bullied by a DOCTOR. A male doctor. 30 years old, still inexperienced. My mother had a part of her finger chipped off because of an accident. It was bleeding profusely and my mother was half conscious. The bastard wounded her more than he tried to stop the bleeding. Mom begged him to stop and he just kept scolding her while scraping more of her finger off for the ‘procedure’, or so he claimed. Me, my brother, and our dad had him disbarred and shamed after the fact. I wanted to beat his head in. Thinking this still sends chills down my spine. If I’m getting a mild panic attack just for recounting this horrific experience, just imagine how much worse my mother had it. She was literally being tortured until she’d pass out.
when i was 18 my lung had collapsed. after the first surgery to get it fixed i was being monitered fora day to make sure it did indeed fix it. a few hours after after waking from it i felt really really bad. like my lung felt even worse than it did when i came in. i told the nurse and she was being rude like my lung recollapsing was inconvenient. we demanded that i get an xray and i could SEE how collapsed it was. even after all that fuss, she didnt tell my doctor and he had no idea until the following morning 6 hours later when i got the xray that i was already scheduled to have. it was around 40% collapsed. I spent the entire night wondering if i was going to die to this bitch of a nurse who refused to do her job.
I…didn’t know that. I was more than willing to defend Tom Nook for his “loan” with 0 interest, no deadline and no pressure or need to pay, but I’m impressed he still makes cash somehow and just donates it, while maintaining his “slimy businessman” reputation like some sort of furry The Boss…
I never would’ve remembered biting down into the seam of these things, often splitting them into two near-perfect halves. The texture was bad, the taste was bad, and yet…I chomped.
Never would’ve remembered without this post. The internet truly does make you feel less alone.
oh hey! we’ve got these marmalade balls in finland that are basically the same size as the forbidden ones and they’re more vibrantly colored too
it was basically a christmas tradition to eat too many of the green ones. i don’t think i could eat another one again and it’s been years since i’ve had a vihreä kuula
remember when you were 11 and you would watch asdfmovie with your friends and you would quote it with every single friend you knew? that was basically just the early version of quoting vines
Many of the materials present in footwear can withstand deep sea pressure, hence why human remains in sunken ships disappear but the shoes don’t.
When fishing up an old boot, check inside for valuables, as a mermaid may have been using it as a bag.
In multiple mermaid languages, the words for “bag” and “footwear” are interchangeable. In a sense, it’s poetic, as footwear is needed to “carry” yourself on land.
