idk if this is exactly related but another fucked up thing the US government did is that they granted immunity to nazis who conducted fatal human experiments so they could use the data obtained from them. Just look up Unit 731 on Wikipedia and you’ll be able to read about it (some of the experiments in the “Activities” tab are extremely graphic. just a warning.)
Also don’t forget that they looked to undermine and infiltrate civil rights movements. The FBI sent death threats and suicide baiting letters to MLK and they wire tapped him as well. FBI also sent agents into the Black Panthers and also Marcus Garvey’s organization to break up the group and sew discord.
i feel like we should also mention that time america provided military aid to caribbean dictators facing a revolution because they sold the US fruits cheap.
