Relevant point: while all the Zora kings are giant for some reason, that same trait seems to extend to Zora queens. Example being one (1) Queen Rutela from “Twilight Princess”, who towers about thrice the height of Hylians from the looks of things.
Incidentally I love the scale of the mer people in a comic “The Sea in You”. The main mermaid is person sized, while mom is Huge, and the males are tiny.
