2 hours is a long time in politics. This woman came to power 45 days ago (2 days before the Queen died) and is now gone. Our previous shortest serving PM was a guy who was in office 119 days and is only that short a duration because he fucking died
for anyone confused as to how she outlasted a lettuce on day 7 if she’s been here 45 days:
it came from a comment by the Economist after she’d only been in full power for a week (the queen dying really put a wrench in things) and already falling to market forces comparing her to the “shelf life of a lettuce”
so the Daily Star got an actual lettuce a day later to see if she really would have a longer shelf life than a lettuce. naturally.
