anyway, since I guess today is my day for bullshit prospit kids commentary, let me tell you about jade.
Jade’s greenhouse garden is weird.
Her garden is squash and corn and veggies… but primarily flowers. Which is a weird choice of priorities, since according to the girl herself:
JADE: i even had my own garden where i grew flowers and vegetables and fruits and such
JADE: that is all i ever ate, the things i grew myself
but whatever, it’s not like this point ever occurred to me as notable (or as suggesting she ate the flowers along with the vegetables and fruit and such). Maybe she just liked the flowers! I like the flowers.
What kind of flowers are they anyway?
Oh, okay, bullshit nonsense flowers, right?
Well. I’m not saying those AREN’T bullshit nonsense flowers, but I AM saying… have you seen THIS bullshit nonsense?
So yeah, I’ve been silently classifying Jade’s garden flowers as exaggerated caricatures of these guys ever since I saw some IRL and did a double take. It is fun to have such private hilarities.
But then a few days ago it occurred to me I could just, like, go to the plant store and acquire my very own Jade Harley plant if I wanted. So I asked google what I should know about them.
And… turns out…. passion flowers are a homebrew treatment for sleeping disorders and anxiety.
What a surprising harvest for a narcoleptic?
