You get ‘on’ a bus or train, but you get ‘in’ a car or taxi

How to not mix them up (for those who might be learning English): If you walk upright when boarding, you’re getting on. If you sit into a seat from the door, you’re getting in.

So, for example, you also get *on* a plane or boat, and *in* a carriage.

Oh, that is a good distinction.

English is my native language and this blew my mind

The way men view women in movies is so funny because Rey with the Force shouldn’t be able to do all that and Carol Danvers with Superpowers shouldn’t be able to do all that but Singular Cop Dude with No Powers Trapped In A Building can take down 20 genius terrorists Alone (Die Hard)

op I thought you were referring to Paul Blart before I could finish this

Anonymous asked: do the twili revear whatever link is current at the time as a diety like they do midna or do they have no idea that link was the wolf?

earthnashes:

Link is and always will be the Chosen Hero no matter what lifetime he’s in, so while he’s hailed of great importance to every race’s culture, he isn’t really seen as a god or a deity. He’d probably be more like… a holy knight or sorts? So deeply respected but not necessarily worshiped. And unlike Zelda, who everyone knows from birth to death who she is, not everyone knows off the bat who the Chosen Hero is at any given timeline unless it’s publicly announced. I’m not sure if it was publicly announced in this timeline yet but I’m considering a yes on that front.

Now, as far as the Twili go, they’d probably be the exception because as far as they see it, he’s not only a large reason why Midna succeeded in saving the Twilight Realm, not only is he the Chosen Champion to the mortal goddess, but he was also transformed into the “Divine Beast” during the events of Twilight Princess. Given the great importance of wolves and their legends detailing how the Chosen Champion becoming a wolf in their time of need, Link is definitely seen as a sort of deity to them.
