to be fair i wrote explicit harry potter fanfic as an 11 yr old so it’s a trade off of two evils really
Yeah but at least harry potter has the (wizard) nazis as the bad guys instead of making them uwu protagonists
Anonymous asked: What was Hetalia even about?? I never watched it but my friend told me it was about the countries but ppl??? Do u know anything? Bc ppl on here seem to hate it
so full disclosure as you may or may not know i didn’t actually watch anime like, as something that i could enjoy until about two years ago (i’m 22). so when like…weeb shit was going down in middle & high school, i was blissfully unaware of different anime discourse going on at the time. did i harass the anime club president? yes but that’s because he was a dick who’d watch ecchi and then act like irl PDA was horrible. idk man i just crashed the club for snacks and got called a tsundere or whatever the fuck
anyway. moving on.
from what i’ve gathered, hetalia is an anime/manga about humanized countries. which is cool except not because it’s very much based on stereotypes and just….not great. i mean it’s probably okay, to each ones own, but i’m like, an adult, so i try to consume content that actually makes me happy lol
on top of sterotyped personifications of countries they essentially woobiefy the axis powers of WWII by essentially having nazi germany be basically team rocket.
tbh this is proof that social media has completely ruined my sense of humor like i could go see a stand up comedian live and not laugh as hard as i did from reading this one fucking tweet
i’m glad we’re learning not to blame actors for bad writing that they have no control over, but like, we still owe kristen stewart an apology
WE DO
“Kristen Stewart has no emotional range” no, she was a good actress playing a character written to have 0 emotional range to make audience projection easier
kristin stewert did an amazing job in zathura and catch that kid. Also similar to apologizing to actors for bad direction, i feel like we owe one to hayden christensen too because not even samual L jackson was able to give a good performance in the star wars prequels.
King Crimson skips time, letting the user ignore cause and effect to go straight to their desired outcome.
The little face, Epitaph, sees 10 seconds into the future to determine the best possible outcome for the user. The user then picks the potential future they want, and use King Crimson, the main Stand, to time travels to it instantly, ignoring what had to occur to reach that outcome. So if, for example, the user needs to close the distance on someone with a gun in order to attack them in melee, and Epitaph sees an outcome where they do so, but gets shot in the process, they can skip straight to the effect, being close to their opponent, while ignoring the cause, running over while being shot.
However, if they needed to cross a busy freeway, and there’s no future in which they get across it within ten seconds, they’d have to find another way to cross.
It breaks the rules of cause and effect to allow the user to do things perfectly and instantly.
This is unironically the best explanation of King Crimson I’ve seen.
And then he goes and uses it for this
So he basically blacks out for ten seconds and ends up with better stuff?
