Dinosaurs are a thing the general public tends to target mostly at children.
Hence there should be enough accurate media readily available out there that children aren’t exposed first to inaccurate representation that will shape their understanding in the wrong way and cause them to later refuse the truth.
Children should be able to see what dinosaurs were first, and THEN get to see what fiction made of them.
I can’t believe i have to say that when we almost got it in the 90′s and early 2000s with JP and the Walking With and Prehistoric Park series.
But now we’ve regressed because some 90s/2000s kids are selfish pricks and only want what they grew up with to be shown, instead of allowing new people to experience the joy of learning about cool science.
Furthermore
Children should not be taught that it’s ok to refuse scientific facts.
Awesomebros and sensationalist media are showing children and young teens that mocking and insulting people for bringing up scientific facts that go against what’s trendy is ok and normal.
And if you have a blog or youtube channel that can be watched by children, or even targeted at children (ex: Channel that reviews toys) and have said things like “dinosaurs will always be scaly to me uwu”, you are a very poor influence and you should be ashamed.
I’m on my deathbed. My grandchildren come to see me one last time. They bring their new Nintendo console, which can fly and projects holograms. Smash just got new DLC. A hologram of Crash Bandicoot fights Sonic and Mario on my bed. I stammer out a “fucking awesome” before I pass away, peaceful and contented. Crash is the last thing I see.

I’m so fucking glad they’re postponing it. When Nintendo postpones a game they make sure it’s good. And I want that game to be as close to perfection as possible.
