The funniest part of Fate lore is the fan theory of why some heroic spirits are depicted as they are – some theories claim that it’s because they were popularly perceived like that throughout history, while other theories claim that this is how they looked like contrary to historical depictions.
And the only thing that comes to mind is, what made people believe Thomas Eddison was a giant furry?
I think this proves the second theory
That’s just what he looked like in real life
Ok so basically Edison was summoned in a very unique way which basically goes against everything in Fate up to that point, which is why his body differs greatly from what he was in real life.
Edison is famous enough to manifest as a Heroic Spirit, however his powers as a servant are diminished because he is just so “new”. The more recent a Heroic Spirit the weaker it is generally because their actions haven’t passed into legend yet. To compensate, he manifests as a sort of embodiment of every single President of the United States through history in order to reinforce himself as a concept.
Yes this is convoluted and you were probably better off not knowing.
so this is fun but i’ve actually never listened to anything from chicago outside of cell block tango and know NONE of the lore. i’ll have to check it out once i’m still the new place!
but! for favorite musicals it’s a really messy tie (and i am a very very basic bitch w/ subpar taste) between heathers, sweeney todd, and rocky horror. i just…really like those three. and can lipsinc all of frank’s parts. it’s complicated i definitely don’t fantasize about being shadowcasted haha
but!! i also really like hairspray! and semi ironically bye bye birdie! and i saw grease @ the fox when i was 12 and was like…amazed? it was SO GOOD. and i also saw mamma mia on broadway (very long story, winter garden rose, yes it was the most bougie experience of my life, 2011 babey) and i hold that experience like above the rest in my head just based on principle oh my god it was so good. i had never engaged in anything related to mamma mia before and it was like. well. seeing it as a virgin to that entire side of culture was absolutely mind blowing and an experience i feel so lucky to have had
anyway musicals are just really good and i wish i could’ve done theatre stuff in high school bc they’re just beautiful art!!
:OOOOOO you should see chicago! the main characters name is roxy and it starts with her killing a guy who was lying to her for sex.
[ID: A short video of a man in a plague doctor outfit complete with bird like mask greets the camera “G’day I’m Bob the Necromancer and today we’re doing an unboxing” The camera pans down and we see Bob plunge a shovel into the ground before a headstone. The camera cuts out end ID]
If hell exists then according to this post I’m absolutely going there because I laughed for about 10 minutes.
