I need to start a tag for every time I come across dumb people who think beekeeping means you purposely kill thousands of bees to make honey. (Rant below) tldr version: Honey doesn’t equal slaughter of bees, and you can be allergic to honey.
bees are endangered. Without beekeepers, they would likely go extinct fast. And if they go extinct, that will do irreparable damage to most ecosystems. Beekeepers Are literally saving the world and idiot vegans are out there vilifying them.

When I dug in France I always got a croissant at 0520 from the same exact place in Échemines. A week in, they had one lying on the counter for me by the time I walked in. By the second week I got the exact amount I’d pay in hand when I walked in, because they’d reliably have it ready. I made sure to tell the owners that I wasn’t returning on my last day of the dig.

Depends on the ant. Ponerine ants fight for the role of reproductive. It is also the case that even in ants with castes, the queen emits a pheromone that keeps the workers from laying their own eggs, thus maintaining her role as sole reproductive.
So yeah, gonna say a society where the majority of people are chemically castrated is not the model of communism.
