can you imagine if jurassic world really leaned into the fact that they’re splicing all sorts of animals together to make fake dinosaurs and all the designs weren’t just Large Angry Reptile
my ideal jurassic park is one where all the dinosaurs in the public park are beautiful and docile, but they’re secretly keeping hundreds of unethical ‘failure dinosaurs’ in testing somewhere, all of which are too violent or ugly to show. They’ve got pterosaurs with bioluminescent mouths and brontosaurs with horse legs and hundreds of other weird or grotesque and generally badly bred animals. The worst is a little collection of little potbellied hairless raptors with human hands and teeth because they tried to make some really smart, highly trainable dinosaurs, but in the end all they’ve made is ones that can hold a grudge.
Others in the batch were normal, just the one hatched odd. Wings don’t work, no eyes, no vocal cords. Fur’s all dark and greasy and you can’t even see the thing till it yawns or chews at itself. No, I don’t think it’d make a very good exhibit.
That kinda shit would put Jurassic Park back in the horror genre again. And at this point, I think it needs it.

SO I read the actual original article. It wasn’t by a conservative group. It was by college students. They sent a poll to other college students. The questions included things like “would Santa be way more lit with a man bun?” Their classmates, fellow college students, had a fun time filling it out. It was for laughs. People agreed Santa would be cooler if Santa was gender neutral, had tattoos, vaped, wore beanies, drank starbucks, had an iphone, and road a swegway. It was a joke poll filled out by a couple thousand college kids for a laugh.
However a poll taken by couple colleges worth of jokesters in the US and UK is being treated like actual data. This is exactly what media is good at. Taking nonsense, jokes, and statistically tiny groups and stating that these are the facts.
remember when the media caused a huge scare over people eating tide pods when at the time nobody was ever actually eating tide pods and didnt start until news stations made it seem like people were?
sometimes ill just be having a normal ass day when i get hit with the reoccurring catch all thought that is “if feferi lived she would have totally been gay” and i can’t. get over it
