I’ve been on Tumblr for 7 years at this point so it really is a testament to the garbage quality of this site that I have no emotional attachment whatsoever
the sexual tension between you and the other player completing same questline
jumping as valid form of communication
urge to wear the butt ugly Rare and/or Old retired gear to show that you are better than everyone else
the cryptids that are players who have hit the level cap but their character looks like walking shitpost
having to complete missions in middle of place where some people are roleplaying very seriously and u just feel like janitor cleaning stage in middle of play rehearsal as you try to do ur work and move on asap
the odd mildly nostalgic feeling of being high level player and watching obviously new players playing the game for first time
I love how the 5e corebook is very clear about how dragonborn do not have tails and literally every player and DM since has unilaterally said “That’s fucking dumb give them a tail :/”
It also explicitly states that scale colour is more of a metaphysical concept and that they all have brown and orange scales and every player has said “that’s dumb, let’s make them blue/green/gold/etc.”
just to be clear, I’m staying here as long as this site functions. I have 0 intentions of deleting this blog, I will go down with this ship if only to see exactly how bad it gets
