math was a goddamn mistake id like to sit down and have a serious talk with every mathematician ever they knew perfectly well the nature of their crimes
The SMT version of wearing bad armor because the better armor is ugly is not fusing off weaker demons/personae because the better ones you would get look weird
“Fuse these two level 17 demons for a level 21 legion” that’s okay because these demons that I have look like a cool monkey and an evil beetroot and legion looks like if lung cancer had a face
It’s the same as not getting charizard because charmander is cute
This is such a good image. I want this as a poster.
If this painting hadn’t been an uncredited repost, you would have been able to find it as a poster here.
The painting is by Tristan Elwell, a very talented painter. This particular piece is called Curses, INC, and was commissioned to be part of Vivien Vande Velde’s short stories, “Curses, Inc.”
Look how many links I put in. One to Tristan’s print sales page, one to Tristan’s art page, and one to the commissioner’s book. Those are three potential advertisements that were lost because this image was reposted without credit.
there’s little difference between baby boomers complaining about millennials “killing” various industries by not buying anything and millennials complaining that gen z is stupid for eating tide pods. Both are indications of a much larger problem that the older generation doesn’t want to look at and instead blames the newer generation. For baby boomers complaining about millennials, the bigger problem is capitalism. For millennials complaining about genz, the problem is challenge culture.
we all know how capitalism sucks so im just gonna explain why challenge culture is horrible. Challenge culture has existed for years and most of the time they are very dangerous. In addition to the latest tide challenge, the previous challenges have been the jenner lip challenge which caused severe cuts and broken blood vessels by creating a vacuum in a shot glass with the lips. The fire challenge which was literally set a part of you on fire. The salt and ice challenge which resulted in frostbite and damage to skin tissue. And many more challenges.
Instead of complaining “oh gen z is so stupid for taking a meme so seriously” take a look at why they are doing it and challenge the culture which drove them to it. otherwise we’re no better than baby boomers complaining that millennials aren’t buying diamonds.
they’re absolutely different. capitalism is ingrained in our economic system, there’s no way to “opt out” of it. challenge culture isn’t nearly as pervasive, you can just… not do it.
Because peer pressure is a powerful thing and its something that needs to be addressed. saying “just dont do it” is like saying “just move to another country”
just because you personally are not effected by it does not mean that it is not a problem.
