I got off the voltron train in season one and haven’t looked back since but I was under the impression it was liked by its fans. What changed?
rabid shippers held the episodes ransom until their ship was canon. they accused the writers of being homophobic and queer bating because their ship wasnt canon. general harassment and actions that would make the fans ancestors disappointed.

Other fun ones: -Sliding along the walls/ceiling when a spot can’t be accessed by walking -N64 music is constantly lurking around -When a character slaps another character or object and it goes flying somehow -Ed Edd and Eddy sound effects
-When an upright character moves into a shot but their legs are still subject to ragdoll physics so even though their torso has stopped moving, their legs are jiggling wildly
the squelch sound that’s commonly used now for when the model blinks
random sniff
character models being perfectly still while moving from point A to point B with heavy metallic straining noise occurring
