Fun but probably insignificant thing about the upcoming Splatfest: this is the first time Marina has explicitly mentioned anything about being an Octarian.

She has said stuff about using octo-themed instruments or weapons in stage introductions, but this is the first time (as far as I’m aware) she’s said anything about a cultural difference, and her reaction is very much a “oh I shouldn’t have said that” one.
