If you look at the rest of the tweet other than stopping after the word “live action” you will see two very important key details.
A) the series is handled by the original creators. They are going to handle it significantly more respectfully than you know who who admitted to never having even seen the show
B) the word series. Its not a film its a series. Its likely going to be a miniseries like series of unfortunate events. Which means it will have better pacing and less content cut than the film did. Not to mention it will have proper character development.
Dont drag this show before it gets off the ground.
The saxophonist is Big Jay McNeely, who died on Sept. 16th 2018 at the age of 91. He was a crucial part of LA’s postwar R&B explosion and helped lay the foundation for rock and roll.
