A Thought: Derse and Prospit are ~general old timey themed, wearing tunics and other older clothing, Gothic/NeoGothic/Baroque architecture, but in private work environments they have modern technology because they’re essentially amusement parks for the player children
this is also why most carapacians dont have names, but titles: Courtyard Droll, Parcel Mistress, Authoritary Regulators, etc etc. Jack gets a name because he as a character is important to the plot across all game play.
What I’m saying is Jack Noir is a face character.If this was the case then like, maybe Jack did have a title of some sort. Like Spiteful Secretary or something, but he just didn’t use it.
Technically Jack Noir’s title is “the archagent”. The SS motif doesnt come up until Jack is put into exile, he becomes Sovereign Slayer and then later he and the whole Midnight Crew give themselves names together in founding Midnight City.
