We’ve all got our quirks here in Humansville. Jeffrey next door has a weird skin condition that makes it rough and dry and it peels every couple months. He never said what it was called, though.
The Petersons down the road have a weird fear of water. I asked them for a glass once and their faces went pale white.
Mitch and Andy always go on these roadtrips every month. They seem to be random to me, only link I ever found was they usually leave the first night of the full moon.
Drake has abnormally long biscuspids. But he loves to show them off during his late night dinner parties or when he volunteers at the blood drive.
Sylvia always has these squirrels or birds or other woodland creatures in their backyards. I swear I saw a deer there once.
It took some time for the locals to warm up to me after I moved here, but they’re very friendly once you get to know them. I’m still not sure why the kids ask me if I’m a “real” human. But I just smile and nod and they run off laughing. All in all, I can’t think of a better place to live.
