We honestly can’t imagine who would win in this epic Avengers and One Punch Man crossover battle.

“Saitama vs Thanos” by RoBs0n.

The infinity stones can be cracked you know

They’re just overly fancy gems, Satima has broken tougher stuff than that

If anyone’s answer is anything other than “Saitama knocks Thanos’ head clean off his shoulders” then they’re wrong

Saitama breaks Thanos’ bling bling arm then straight mollywops him for an hour.

Saitama sighs, walking away from the body of Thanos in disappointment “I thought this would be a good fight.”

One👏🏾fucking 👏🏾punch 👏🏾

Also, following with the theory that Diamonds contribute something to each of their courts, lets talk about Era 2 Gems.

Peridot’s explanation of why she doesn’t have powers seemed a little off to me. Its clear that homeworld is where the majority of gems are produced and the general consensus seems to be that the reason the gems need to make new colonies is because they wreck the planets they colonise over time. But if thats the case, why are they even still making gems on homeworld? Is it just a huge coincidence that Peridot was apart of the first batch of homeworld gems to not have powers? Why not just incubate gems on newer less important colonies and then ship them back to homeworld? If its gotten to the point where Homeworld is producing less efficient gems, why continue to make gems on Homeworld at all? I don’t think its actually a matter of them just running out of peridot goo to put in the incubators, but because Era 2 marks the beginning of the grand diamond authority being one diamond short.

I think the best example we have of the roles the Diamond’s play is in Garnet’s flashback of the Gem War.

Here we see each of them with a different aura. Yellow seems is electric in nature, Blue has some liquid or plasma field, and White seems to represent light.

We’ve mostly seen Blue gems in action so far, and each of them seems to have some level of hydrokinesis. Sapphire controls ice, Aquamarine and Lapis both use water to fly like wings, and Blue herself has the ability to make people around her cry.

The only Yellow gems we’ve seen are Peridots and Rubies, although Yellow seemed to take her pick from leftover Pink gems like Jasper. Peridot was designed to manage Kindergartens, and whatever cut Centipeedtle used to be was made for piloting drop ships.

Based on Peridot’s fangirling over Yellow, we can assume Yellow’s role (and subsequently, the role of Yellow gems) is more technological and aggressive while Blue’s court is more equipped for the elements and terraforming.

So what was Pink’s major contribution to the Diamond Authority? Looking at Pink gems, what stands out? The only Pink Gems we’ve seen that weren’t either adopted by another diamond or Pink Diamond herself are Amethysts and Bismuths. Out of all the gems, what is Amethyst’s favourite way to fight?

What is the one thing that Peridot and other Era 2 Gems cannot do?

And finally, who is arguably the most powerful shapeshifter in the entire series?

DUDE! This could explain corruption. The diamond attack involved the other diamonds attacking with the parts they contributed to gem production. Maybe the attack amplified those parts of the gems but offset the balance between each diamond’s contribution. The amplified light energy from White allowed them to have increased mass, blue’s emotional energy overloading their thoughts, and yellow’s energy doing… something(?). With only pink diamond’s shapeshifting left as is, the corrupted gems are locked out of their ability to control their form, instead becoming manifestations of their turbulent emotions. This could also be why Steven was able to make Centipeedle temporarily regain parts of her gem form. With some Pink Diamond energy she could make up some of the difference and regain partial control of her form(?).

Edit: Maybe when Steven can fully tap into Pink Diamond’s power he’ll be able to unleash his own diamond blast to heal all of the corrupted gems at once?

if steven can manage to heal the corrupted gems fully, remember how many corrupted gems are in the temple? earth could have a gem army again.

Pokemon fans 2018: Ugh I HATE people who use computers to add Pokemon into their game it ruins it for the rest of us

Pokemon fans 1999: Raise two Sneasels to level 57 who both have Beat Up as their third move and breed an Egg from them, then clone 5 pokemon by turning off your game during a save make sure the 5th one is corrupted data named ? that you can’t put in the PC because it doesn’t actually exist and will brick your game all so the Egg will hatch into a level 0 Celebi that knows Drill Peck

hot life tip:

if a family member or a loved one who you’re sure is supposed to be dead sends you any sort of correspondence and asks you to come to a place that’s either a) a swamp b) foggy town or c) a mansion

just don’t go

What about an amusement park. Can I go if a dead relative asks me to come to an amusement park?

Probably not.  People with happy childhoods invited to amusement parks by dead relatives learn shattering truths about their childhoods and families, and people with unhappy childhoods invited to amusement parks by dead relatives have to fight monsters.

Either way, just order a pizza and stay home.

What about if a dead relative invites me to a regular park?

as a future dead relative, I understand why these sorts of communications with the living are very fraught. Is there a nice, neutral place I can invite my surviving descendants for a pleasant post-life discussion?

this is a sincere question and not in any way a trap

Going to have to agree with the other people who suggested Denny’s.  Most are open 24 hours in case you can only meet at midnight, and, trust me, as long as you’re not, like, actively shedding body parts or covered in maggots, none of the staff are going to blink an eye when a postmortem individual comes in.  They’ve most likely seen worse already.
