i think one of the main reasons tf2 SFM/GMOD videos are so memorable is because the tf2 classes themselves (and the many cosmetics they’ve got) make them a perfect set of characters for most (if not all) settings

you can put them in the future, the past, the suburbs, or in the normal maps themselves, and more often than not, they’ll never look uncannily out of place
