IT’S OFFICIAL. There will be a national school walkout on March 14th. This walkout demands action to finally be taken on gun violence. No more students deserve to be gunned down because lawmakers don’t wanna do anything about it. We are the generation that’s being affected the most by these weak gun laws, and WE are the ones who should be protesting about it. One student dying because of a gunman is one too many. SPREAD THE WORD, this applies to ALL students!!

OKAY!!! REALLY QUICK CAUSE YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS!!
#1: YOUR RIGHTS DO NOT END ONCE YOU WALK INTO THE SCHOOL! You need to take a good long look at your rights and civil liberties because they will be called into question. I would strongly advise contact an ACLU representative and asking them about this so you are prepared to defend yourselves from a legal stand point because the shit is going to hit the fan and it’s going to hit it hard.#2: DO NOT RISE OR RESPOND TO THREATS! There will be threats. They will threaten to put you in detention, call your parents, expel you, get rid of your extra curricular activities, et cetera. Anything they can to control the situation before the media gets involved or the school board. You must have solidarity within your participants, lock arms, form prayer circles, sit down and do not stand. Do whatever it takes to show a non-violent, passive approach to show that it is your intention to disrupt and draw attention to the problem without being physically confrontational.
#3: SELECT A SPEAKER! Sooner or later, camera crews are going to show up. This is where messages get mixed and it becomes very easy to loose track of your goals. Draft a short speech, under 30 seconds, and select a speaker for your school who will address the media with the concerns of the student body and the demands you have before you will return to school and your education.
#4: TAKE YOUR EDUCATION INTO YOUR OWN HANDS! This is not a chance to take advantage and get some time off school. The media WILL USE THIS as an excuse to discredit you. If you can, get teachers on board who will provide you with a curriculum that you can continue to work on from home. Do NOT GIVE UP YOUR EDUCATION! Refuse to participate in a government funded system of education which denies you basic safety.
#5: If you can, GET YOUR TEACHERS INVOLVED! Is there a teacher your trust as a group? Is there a teacher who would offer their support, voice and guidance during this walk out? Get them involved. I know it’s not fair, but teen voices are underrated and overlooked. Having an adult head the operation or at the very least being willing to speak out IN YOUR FAVOR ON CAMERA will go a long way to adding legitimacy to your cause! Remember, their lives are in danger too, and more than once a teacher has put themselves between the shooter and their students. Ask them to be a part of this if you can.

After a hundred year’s, Lucretia is immune to pranks.
Taako brings cupcakes to the B.O.B. cafeteria one day that he had purposely made awful and tries to hand them out. No one has taken him up on the offer yet because, excuse me, all three re-claimers are giggling into their hands and saying things like “oh these are soo delicious, and definitely made using a real cupcake recipe!’’ and none of them are honestly that stupid. (Also, with the memory of the hot chocolate fiasco from a few months ago still fresh in their minds there is a general sense of fear over what evil those cupcakes could wreak if consumed.) While this is happening the Director walks by and taako starts trying to persuade her to take one; everyone is a bit surprised he would try to pull such an obvious trick on the Actual Boss until Lucretia turns around, grabs the cupcake from taako’s hand and is like “wow taako, for me? you shouldn’t have!” before taking a giant bite out of it, staring into taako’s eyes the entire time. The room is silent. Everyone is afraid. Tres horny boys are watching their lives flash before their eyes (specifically the part where Merle upended an entire bottle of Worcestershire sauce into the cake batter.) Lucretia swallows, thanks the boys, and walks back out of the cafeteria eating the rest of the cupcake. All eyes go to taako who is standing there visibly shook.
After a moments hesitation Magnus pops a cupcake into his mouth to test it and immediately has to be rushed to the emergency room.

- teacher refused to let me sit backwards in chairs. i made a point to sit backwards in chairs until she told me to stop, and then id manspread as much as possible. (semester one.)
- teacher got onto my friend and gave her a panic attack over her newly dyed hair. i told her my friend putting red streaks in her hair was no different than her removing the grey streaks from her hair. got sent outside. (semester one)
- teacher told me my bra strap was showing. took my bra off in class and put it in bag. was sent to principal’s office. mother was called, although she only muffled her laughter over the telephone. (semester two)
- [to homophobic teacher who disliked my mothers] “what language is gaelic from? gayland?” “that’s where my moms are from, ma’am.”
- teacher claimed i was lying about moving to uruguay and tried to force me into sitting in a personal meeting about my future classes and goals. told her to “sign me the fuck up for underwater basket weaving” and got sent outside. (semester two)
- was told by teacher that “ladies should not say they have to pee. try ‘can i use the restroom’ instead” replied with “alright. i gotta piss like a racehorse. can i use the restroom?“ (got sent outside. again. semester two)
- was told to “smile, you’ll look nicer” by a 6′0″ male coach i did not know. when he blocked my entrance out of the classroom until i smiled for him, i said “shove it straight up your ass,” before elbowing him in the ribcage, ducking under his arm, and running for it. skipped class in that building for a week. (semester two)
- hopped a fence to catch my bus and flipped off an ancient male history teacher when he shouted at me to come back. he threatened to find me again. he never found me.
