Once, a champion came late to the festivities, and was greeted by a shrine without fire, and a bell that would not toll.
It is a tragic story indeed. He was supposed to be the the new champion to link the Flame in his world and life time, yet it the bell never rang for him. By the time he got to the shrine it’s all gone, everything he wanted to protect and the bright future he was destined for. On the other side, we have a fire keeper that never met her champion, and was laid to rest then dumped in the Firelink shrine’s tower. Even crueller still, is a promise of purpose….perhaps a heroic farce of a purpose…
It’s hard to get the feels when you get a cast iron foot to the face! Or getting grabbed and thrown off the cliff when you only need a few hits to defeat him!!! This is Champion Gundyr everyone, a kinda-sorta-rematch of Iudex Gundyr, this time he’s meaner, faster, ANGRIER, with less snake. Some adept players can parry him to death, but for not so gud peeps like myself he is freaking manic on solo. You only get one to two hits per opening. Get too greedy, and you get a shoulder ram, or a METAL BOOT to the face! Also, he two-hands his halberd on his leaping attack I think :U
