Kids are interesting. I’m babysitting a 9 year old boy right now who’s homework is to write a fictional story and he wrote about how in millions of years the sun will expand killing everything and one man fell asleep at the beach and missed all the official announcements about the world ending but he managed to be the only survivor of the solar flares because he applied SPF 100 sunscreen.
imagine a game where you get at the start the enemies are basic and can be killed with a basic attack. as you go along you unlock more moves and soon harder enemies appear that can only be killed with a certain moves. as you progress further and further, the harder enemies become more frequent until basic attack doesn’t hit anyone. then in the final boss, you fight and none of the special attacks work. you try every single one and every single weapon but nothing works. frustrated, you do a basic slash and it takes a considerable chunk off of the bosses life bar.
