at some point in 2017 a group of people would snatch urls that were known as racist/homophobic/nazi and change the icon to that and then have “howdy pardner” in their description and it was basically a badge of knowing who was an asshole
it still kinda is, but the whole thing faded off after 2 weeks or so and no one spoke of it again
The reason it faded is that people started grabbing all deactivated accounts and doing it so it became a clusterfuck since it was no longer a way for people to know who is and isnt a douche. The original people behind it stopped since people were abusing their idea to get back at old rivalries or to ruin a dead account.
no one talks about the woody apocalypse even though you see signs of it still everyday
its like in fallout when you see a skeleton on the side of a road. its already happened and nothing can really be done about it so its best to move on.
