What’s the most simple thing you’ve ever had to explain to a fully competent adult?

That you cannot fax money to someone.

Had someone accidentally fax us some paperwork. They then asked if we would fax it back due to the paperwork being confidential…

I have received a fax in an envelope. like… they took the documents, put em in an envelope, then faxed me a picture of the sealed envelope.

When I was a kid, I faxed my dad’s satellite office drawings of horses. I had watched my father send so many faxes that I had the process memorized. Except, for some reason I thought that I could fax things to grandma. I put in the numbers for the office every time, but was convinced that the faxes were going to grandma. I also didn’t think to inform my parents that I was doing this.

My dad visited the satellite office (three hour drive) one day and discovered their conference room white board absolutely covered in my drawings. The guys thought it was adorable that I sent drawings and letters to them, and didn’t tell my dad because they knew he’d stop me.

That’s one of the cutest things I’ve ever heard.

I like that this just turned into stories about faxing

My not fax related additon.

Had to explain to someome that leather does not come from hairless cows.

I have a soft spot for parental figures who don’t want to admit they’re parental figures.

“I am not a father,” he says as he is followed by a horde of children.

Anonymous asked: I bid for someone to make a Frozen Elsa flash game parody of bad flash games wherein the joke is that Elsa is actually frozen in a block of ice. Maybe something like "Frozen Elsa Defrost Brain Surgery" where you actually can lose and it just says "elsa is dead. it is all your fault." in tiny Arial font if you do. Maybe even save a cookie so that you can't reload it and try again. Just because that would be weird. I'm sorry. Also those captchas are fucking annoying.

I’d believe it if you told me this already exists.

As an entry-level DnD player can someone explain to me in the simplest possible way how to differentiate wizards, warlocks, and sorcerers from each other?

wizards is imbued with magic, you just need to prepare mentally your spells.

sorcerer studied magic, you need to physically prepare your spells and often need materials.

warlock has magic because of demon, you have access to mainly dark magic as well as eldritch blast as a free unlimited cantrip.

to be honest, play-wise wizards & sorcerers are very similar as they tend to have a lot of shared spells. sorcerers get to specialize in a school of magic more than wizards though. and warlock its pretty much just dark magic.

this, except reverse wizards and sorcerers.

sorcerers innately have their magic (usually because someone fucked a magic being. often a dragon)

wizards studied magic and learned accordingly. they also tend to be older, but not always.

warlocks get their magic from pacts with magic beings (which i don’t think necessarily have to be demons).

As

just said.
