ok but like? griffin mcelroy’s style of DMing has taken so much pressure off the thought of DMing. i mean i could have npc’s just being like ‘yo dude, sup’ and it will be totally fine. players totally fuck up the a to b of a quest and get lost in some woods? just make up some random shit monsters and call it good. bs the fuck out of these games yo, don’t worry about npc’s talking all fancy. just fuckin go for it
ok no joke, I was at a barbecue hosted by the guy who sculpted this character, he worked for gearbox shortly before leaving to pursue Dota 2 workshop stuff full time.
He worked on this character and for two weeks straight the art director kept coming back, again and again asking to make his head a little smaller and his body a little bigger. Montana supposedly looked pretty normal at first but eventually evolved into what we see now.
honestly the saddest part of this story is that the dude quit gearbox to work on dota 2 workshop stuff, because evidently making free shit for valve on the off chance that they MIGHT pay you pays better than working for gearbox
He got a skin in CS:GO and then used the money to buy a HOUSE
He actually works for Arena Net now, so it all works out in the end.
