there are only two ways to overcome a troll, and that’s either by
A) ignoring them completely or B) trolling back and trolling harder
Either learn to smash block, or learn to work your own maneuvers. Option A is the more rational choice, but if you’ve got a silver tongue and think you’re emotionally prepared to pick B, study their patterns carefully and think before you type. A troll is never interested in proving a point, a troll is only interested in mining their entertainment from your reactions. Equip yourself with the skills you need in order to deprive them of this reward and prevent yourself from being victimized.
Trolling isn’t discourse, it isn’t a debate of fact or fiction, it’s a test of will and will alone. No troll is looking to prove you wrong, only to get you pissed. That’s the most important thing to remember.
