i remember when overwatch came out the industry papers were honestly asking ‘can this game survive only on being fun?’ as though it were a foreign concept, and then effort was made to remove a portion of the fun to replace it with lootbox mechnics and people left to play fortnite because it was fun and then some of the fun was replaced with lootbox mechanics so people left to play minecraft

siri how do i express nervousness about a vaccine being developed at light speed by a private company on a tight deadline funded by the trump administration without in any way sounding like an anti-vaxxer
villains are hard to design. making them ugly is dangerous, depending on what traits you choose to frame as monstrous or undesirable, you could very well end up saying something fatphobic, racist, anti-semitic, etc
but if you make a hot villain then people will get thirsty and demand redemptions and refuse to acknowledge their evil actions, no matter how despicable
Solution: Full body armor and masks. You don’t see people shipping themselves with Sauron!
…………..you think?
…………..don’t look up Sauron on AO3
Nothing fails to crack me up like this post - the vain hope that somewhere out there is some awful nasty thing that there is not also a person whose kink that is, the idea that covering something up won’t make people obsessed with finding out what it looks like underneath, the surface level understanding of Sauron and complete lack of knowledge of the Silmarillion and it’s fandom, the fact that Sauron was canonically hot as fuck, the amount of Sauron erotica I have seen, God this post never gets old
The Poster Of The Comment: You don’t see people shipping themselves with Sauron!

full body armour makes them mysterious which is sexy.
My advice is to make them beasts because at least the furries are tolerable
So, I have a question. IT's been confirmed that OG!Steven has Diamond Eyes, but only when he's pushing the limit of his gem powers. Normally, he has normal eyes. I bring this up because you've started White Steven off with the Diamond Eyes. I'd like to know your reasoning behind this. Is it a design choice? Art Style? Or are you trying to imply something?
DOES canon Steven *only* have diamond eyes (meaning diamond-shaped pupils) when he’s pushing the limits of his gem powers?
Or… do they just GLOW when he’s angry/upset, making them easier to see?
Let’s look at the diamonds:
Except for White, all Diamonds, including pink, typically have dark pupils and colored irises.
White’s pupils perpetually glow, and Steven’s pupils also develop this trait when he’s being, for lack of a better word, OP.
Most of the time, however, Steven’s pupils are black. And coincidentally… so are his irises.
We don’t actually know what shape his pupils are. Because most of the time, they’re not glowing, and his irises only become pink when he’s in a pink-diamond state.
WD!Steven isn’t any different. His pupils glow white when he’s using his power, but most of the time, they’re dark.
The only difference between him and canon Steven is the fact that his irises are light enough to reveal his eye shape!
