He also told them what they’re going through isn’t as bad because it’s not a “real catostrophe like Katrina”. I really hope folks don’t forget about this horrific crisis response in 2020 and even in 2018 when it comes to the midterm elections. We can’t let this type of selfish government be in charge anymore.

Yep you’re 100% right. You can see in this video he was throwing paper towels at people like he was a damn t-shirt cannon at a basketball game…… rather than being more genuine and handing them out. You can tell he sees these crisis victims as inferior.
UPDATE: the trump administration JUST NOW approved a waiver to use food stamps for hot meals, but before they denied it for 2 whole weeks. Progress is progress but this response is still a shit show and he insulted the people of Puerto Rico. This should have been approved as soon as the crisis started

Rewrite of The Purge where, for 24 hours, people hurriedly complete all those renovations and projects that the council forbids. Helen, leader of the PTA, laughs maniacally as she tears grass from her lawn with a pitchfork, her thirteen-year-old daughter Emily’s arms red with mud as she wades through the carnage, planting thyme. Jack and Mitch have left their friendly smiles behind at the RSL; today their faces show only grim determination as they methodically shovel gravel into potholes and pour bitumen. The local biker gang, gathered on the corner, are the most rambunctious of the mischief-makers, whooping and hollering as nail guns are driven into plywood, assembling miniature by-the-road shelters for the homeless to rest on cold nights. Their noise covers the sounds of Katy and Sam moving from street to street with their trolleys, picking up unsold or unwanted food from houses and restaurants to give to the hungry without fear of taxation or food safety reprisals. They’re young, and still scared of being caught.
But there’s no one to catch them. Not tonight.

For 15 seconds (relative to her) she can go very very fast. like, faster than a bullet. if she stays longer than 15 seconds, she would start to get motion sickness. she has gloves with force dampening properties so she can manipulate things without destroying them. she can choose how much force is dampened with her watch. everything she does happens in less than a seconds in real time. after 15 seconds of use, it has a 30 seconds cooldown. she uses a watch to track how long shes been in hyperspeed and how much force her hits would have.
