already seeing jokes about how texas deserves this hurricane for voting for trump as if the people effected most during natural disasters arent the same people effected by trumps shitty politics (namely poor poc) who most likely didnt vote for him 🙃🙃🙃

I live where some of the worst flooding is, and let me tell you, the majority of the people losing their homes and everything else they have are not white middle to upper class republicans. It’s people in inner city houston where the flooding has been the most intense, an area that has mostly poor minorities residing in it. Hell, even outside of Houston/close to the coast, there are a LOT of people of color/other minorities/poor people, and these people did not vote for Trump.
