okay so in certain fandoms there are like key things that happen in canon that always ALWAYS turn up in fics, or at least most fics, especially if the event is very specific/important to the characters the fic is about
but my favorite thing about taz is that even in fics that aren’t focused on them, killian and carey getting married seems to be one of those prevalent reoccurring events. and the best part is that it’s not even something that happens in the canon! but everyone seems to have agreed that, yes, these ladies are gonna get married at some point and we just gotta write their beautiful amazing wedding into our fic.
i’ve read like three or four fics now that aren’t even killian/carey centric but their wedding is usually a big plot point or the background of the fic entirely and the reception is always really fucking beautiful and gorgeous and i fucking love that this is a trend, what a gift
i’m listening to the taz finale now, and i’m really gonna miss these boys… so proud of and thankful for griffin for what he did for the show and for giving us an amazing story
