The very large grin that just spread across my face kind of scared me. I adore people learning background things about culturally iconic multigeneration franchises like Star Wars.
Especially because I’d in fact forgotten jazz is jizz.
This was the wrong day to actually keep scrolling.
Interesting, but I can only conclude that is a happy accident, because the universe that changed dice to “chance cubes”, coffee to “caf” and put “vibro/hydro” in front of anything tool name to make it more spacey took absolutely no word origins into account.
Oh, and for those who may not know….
….. tape is just “space tape”, and cravats are “spavats”, as in “space cravats”
just…. don’t give them too much credit
I mean, I’m not. It’s just true that this is basically the same linguistic thing which led to the name jazz.
Or, as I said earlier when explaining this to someone: “you have to have a lot of spunk to play jazz.”
I post this every year but it’s worth it to remind myself to plant flowers, in the garden and in my mind and whenever I get a chance, in the hearts of others.
