look, as an artist, i can say without a doubt that writer’s get a bad rep
ppl always talkin about how fanart is more popular than fanfic but that’s just because of the accessibility. it takes like 2 seconds to look at a picture and decide you like it. sittin through a whole fic is much more of a commitment my ADD ass has a hard time doin’ it myself
writing isn’t “easier” than drawing in fact I’d wager to say it’s a lot HARDER cause like shit there’s so much cognition involved that i dont need to think about when im drawin’ a picture.
so props to the writers who keep writing even if they don’t get as much recognition as they should
