Why do so many Christians know nothing about Jesus.

Smh at these fake Jesus fans

Jesus said that literally if you are rich you WILL NOT get into heaven, because he understood a real fuckin simple fact: the only way to have more than others is to keep it from them, and in a world where people needlessly die of want, to be rich is to kill, it’s a mortal sin. It’s such a simple obvious idea, and people are so so unwilling to accept it

Jesus would be pro capitalism?  The man that overturned the money carts outside the temple?  The man that called out the Pharisees for their hypocrisy?

Jesus said that it is harder for a rich man to get into heaven than for a camel to get through the eye of the needle.  Does that mean it’s impossible?  I don’t think so.  There’s a theory that ‘eye of the needle’ doesn’t mean a sewing needle.  It means a small side gate into the city of Damascus.  It’s smaller than an average doorway.  For a camel to get through you would have to first unpack everything it carried, and then you would have to guide it through carefully.  it would have to lower it’s head to fit through.

Unpack your riches and humble yourself by bowing your head.  That’s not capitalism.

“The story of a boy who became a man… By becoming a bear.”

This movie is way too under appreciated in my opinion… The fandom is practically non-existent…

image

And I don’t understand why? The plot was fantastic.

All of the characters were lovable.

There was no one that you absolutely could not stand.

The “bad guy” was actually the main character, Kenai. Which was an interesting twist for Disney.

image

But by building a bond with this young cub (Koda), and seeing the world through the eyes of a bear, he realized that he (as a man) had been the monster… Not bears.

image

I mean, talk about character development…

image

Koda: Those monsters are really scary… Especially with their sticks.

And for me, this scene right here was one of my most emotional Disney moments. You can’t even here Kenai telling the actual story… But you can see their facial expressions and you can just feel it. You know exactly what he’s saying to Koda.

image

Kenai: Well, I have a story to tell you.

Koda: Really? What’s it about?

Kenai: Well, it’s kind of about a man… and kind of about a bear. But mostly, it’s about a monster.

… Koda… I did something very wrong.

Okay, but on a lighter note?

Amazing.

It was a powerful movie about brotherly love, guidance, and responsibility, and it truly is one of my favorite Disney movies ever.

Not to mention the soundtrack is amazing. You can’t go wrong with Phil Collins.

The fandom will never be huge, but the movie definitely deserves more credit. If you haven’t watched it, I highly recommend it.

Brother Bear

I want to remind everyone that this movie is where the “quit telling everyone I’m dead” “Sometimes I can still hear his voice” joke came from.
