The answer may surprise you!

The answer shouldn’t surprise anyone. Sunflora is not that strong and has a mediocre move pool, meanwhile Clair has dragons that know ice and fire moves to deal with a grass type.

The answer may surprise you!

image
image

exhibit a: clair’s actual gs team. not one fire move in the bunch. ice beam a slight problem, but it’s only on one of them. so, everything else, nbd

image

exhibit b: my own sunflora soloing clair’s kingdra after beating the dragonairs into submission. +5 sp. atk and miracle seed does wonders.

“Make em pay.”

This post makes me want to play through all of the Pokémon games again

Too bad we can’t see Sunflora’s level, I’m sure it’s like 60 lmao.

image

The sunny boye himself!

I’m so happy that the Sunflora trainer keeps dragging everybody. Good show!

To everyone in the notes pointing out these are different sunfloras you need to look at who posted which screencap. They’re two different people. One person is just chiming in to show it’s possible to beat Clair and is defending OP’s drawing. Stop saying OP is lying when the unnicknamed sunflora pic isn’t even them.

did these fucks learn nothing from the pachurisu dominating the tournament? all pokemon have the capacity for greatness.

humanity and the non-human (i made you this way)

maritime morse is tapped out (wired) / eternal silence (jamie clements & nick millar) / (reddit) / (guggenheim museum) / can’t help myself (sun yuan & peng yu) / (youtube) / opportunity (rover) (wikipedia) / opportunity’s selfie (NASA) / (youtube)

this is why my suspension of disbelief is immediately shattered when watching movies and games where humans show no empathy to robots like detroit become human

For Autism Acceptance Month, I felt the urge to focus on Quinn’s terrible experience with a certain type of therapy that many autistic children were/are subjected to. For Quinn, this lead to masking, self harm, and overwhelming stress growing up. Because of her need to protect Claudette from this abuse, she was finally able to understand that her own autism wasn’t a bad thing and taught her daughter the same.

Misinformed and ablest societies are the reason why autistic people call for acceptance rather than awareness. We don’t need a cure, we need understanding and resources that actually help us rather than those that stigmatize and try to change us.

So, I was thinking about Gaster recently, when I realized something.

image

So There’s this like Ice Wolf monster in Undertale, and their whole job is throwing these stupid ice cubes into the water all day. 24/7. Which was interesting, so I started to wonder. “Man! What are these dang ice cubes for?”

image

Turns out you find out later, It’s transported through the Underground in order to cool down the CORE. Probably to keep it from over heating or something. But this has always felt like, super odd for me. Look, if this SINGULAR Ice Wolf decides to go on strike or something, the entire electrical system of the Underground is put at risk. And it gets even weirder when…

image

…If you wanted to have a cooling system for the core. Why not add vents to release the hot air? Like in Hotland.

Then, a massive truth hit me.

Who created and designed the core? Gaster.

Which means he made the blue prints.

Because of this small detail. We can FIGURE SOMETHING OUT ABOUT GASTER’S CANON PERSONALITY!

image

WHICH IS THAT THIS MAN, IS AN ABSOLUTE FUCKING DUMBASS

image

HE DESIGNED A MASSIVE GEOTHERMAL MACHINE, WHICH UTLIZES HEAT FROM LITERAL MOLTEN MAGMA IN ORDER TO CREATE GEOTHERMAL ENERGY. USING WHATEVER LITERAL ACTUAL JUNK HE PROBABLY HAD TO BUILD IT OUT OF. IN DOING THIS, HE PROVIDED CLEAN, RENEWABLE ENERGY FOR AN ENTIRE CIVILIZATION OF PEOPLE.

BUT FOR SOME REASON. HE DIDN’T MAKE A FUCKING COOLING SYSTEM FOR IT.

SOMETHING THAT HAD BEEN ALREADY UTLIZED IN OTHER AREAS OF THE PLACE HE BUILT THE GODDAMN MACHINE.

NO WONDER HE FELL INTO HIS “OWN CREATION”, WHATEVER THE HELL THAT MEANS. HE PROBABLY TRIPPED ON A SHOELACE OR SOME SHIT

AND THEN, ONCE HE’S SCATTERED. ACROSS TIME AND SPACE. GUESS WHAT IS THE FIRST THING HE DOES?!?

image

HE HACKS A FUCKING TWITTER ACCOUNT.

I am now 100% confident in the fact that Gaster is simultaneously the smartest and dumbest fucking person in the multiverse and I’m honestly all for it.

gaster is a super genius but hes failed to look up osha regulations

Time for Deltarune’s Not-Murder Mystery!

Who attacked the Wet-Nose Bandits?

image
image

What do we know?

  • They were scoping out the house for the holidays - it’s currently autumn (a couple npc’s talk about how they’re “bulking up for the winter”)
  • There was snow on the ground at the time of the “attack”. This may have happened last year, unless it’s (very) late autumn.
  • They were attacked, but pretty much unharmed (Undyne wouldn’t have lovingly suplexed them if they were injured)
  • Undyne was near the scene…for some reason.

Whose house was it?

image

Probably Noelle’s!

  • The bandits call it “that big house” - this is the only house in town with a (bigass) locked gate.
  • This house belongs to the mayor (Alphys confirms the mayor is Kris’s neighbor and Noelle’s mom) so it’s probably huge.
  • Rudy observes at one point that Noelle “might look like she has it all” (such as, a big house)
  • Saying that they were going to sneak into the house over the holidays brings in mind, well, the Holidays.

So who could have attacked the Wet-Nose Bandits, leaving them terrified but pretty much unharmed?

“That sounds like a good idea…….”-“Is there something bothering you with the idea?”-“No, the idea is GOOD…..🙂”

Can someone explain this to me?

Old people use quotation marks to indicate emphasis, as a substitute for italics (which many of them could not produce on the old typewriters they learned to write on), whereas young people use them to indicate sarcasm or falseness. They’re used as “scare quotes”.

And old people use ellipses simply to indicate a pause, or for some other incomprehensible reason I’m not aware of. But young people use ellipses to indicate passive-aggression.

So an old person could type something like:

how are things going with your “boyfriend”….

and what they mean is

How are things going with your boyfriend? [Im so excited for you, sweetie, and I wanna hear about it]

But a young person would interpret that sentence as

How are things going with your so-called boyfriend…. [I say, while seething with contempt for him and possibly for you too]

The linguistic difference across generations is beautifully explained here thank you

People keep coming up with all these long and complicated ideas on how to make doctor who ‘better’. Like relax all we need to do is halve it’s budget. that will solve all our problems

I have put together this helpful graph to illustrate what i mean

some of the best episodes are bottle episodes where they stay on like 1 or 2 sets. because with those episodes the story has to be driven by the characters.
